Tides Coastal Kitchen hosted a Teddy Bear Tea time today in the hotel for the kids and it was SO SWEET! Hot chocolate, cookie decorating, a kid friendly buffet, christmas music for the kids to boogie on the dance floor, and a giant teddy bear! It was such a cute little outing for the kids, we had a great time! Thanks to Isaiah for taking great care of us! Looking forward to more thoughtfully curated events from them

My wife and I came for a concert, date night on a whim. We were pleasantly surprised once we arrived at the hotel. The renovations are chic and beautiful. Its very clean, visibly and even smells new. Which matters a lot to me because most coastal hotels are pretty outdated and visibly worn down due to the amount of traffic & patronage. Our room was great!!!! Unfortunately we came in later then expected so we didn't get a chance to fully indulge in our stay. Special thanks to Bridget & Brianna, they were kind, super accommodating and a joy to be greeted by after our rush road trip. We will absolutely be back for another impromptu date night during off season to enjoy the property! I'm especially excited to go to the restaurant since we didn't have enough time. See you all soon and thanks again Bridget & Brianna!! We are returning to enjoy those drinks very soon! !

Stephanie was absolutely amazing. Quick and efficient and had excellent customer service especially so late in the night. We love our stay here. This is our second time staying, of the many times we’ll be back. The coffee/cafe staff are also very sweet, great customer service, and very efficient. Thank you to those at the Delta Marriott! ⭐

Great hotel on the Bay side of Virginia Beach! The hotel was very clean and well kept. The employees were very helpful and cheerful. I would highly recommend staying here. The on-site restaurant was great! The cocktails were delicious and the food was fresh, delicious and had good portions. We had brunch and dinner, both were excellent! They also have a coffee shop on site!

Great location for restaurants. Tides - the hotel restaurant has a great happy hour Monday-Thursday from 4-7pm which I highly recommend the smoked eggplant dip and the sliders. This is probably the best Marriott property in the NORVA area - in my opinion. If you get a waterfront room, the views are amazing. Sunset every night doesn’t get old. The pantry is great for a morning cappuccino.

For the rate we paid (less than $200/night), this hotel was a great value! We were in the area for a conference, and visited in the off-season, so I can’t comment on the quality or value of the immediate area as a beach getaway. However, the room itself was spacious, with a large separate living area. If I had to guess, this room felt like the size of a one-bedroom apartment. The parking garage was very convenient. The views of the beach were pretty good, even at a room farthest away from the beach. While I have no plans to visit this area again, I would definitely look into this hotel first as an option if I am ever back in the area.

Arrived for a conference, unfortunately they had had a broken waterpipe. One conference room was unusable. Later that evening found out the pipe serviced the heat. So cold rooms, and it was during a cold time. The hotel team worked hard that night to get heat to everyone in the rooms. During the 4 days there, we had on and off again heat. But the conference went on and we had a great time.

I want to start by saying the service here was outstanding from the moment I walked in. The gentleman at the front desk noticed I was uncomfortable with elevators and personally showed me to the stairs something no other hotel has ever done for me. It made me feel genuinely welcomed. My room was tidy, spacious, and the oceanfront view was absolutely gorgeous. The hotel restaurant, Tides Coastal Kitchen, was also a highlight their Caesar salad and Parmesan rosemary fries were a 10/10. Overall, everyone I encountered was kind, attentive, and friendly, which made the stay that much better. The only thing odd I did notice was that most hotels have complementary breakfast but this one did not. You have to order it and pay for it.
